Business Description

Pullela Gopichand, chief national badminton coach and former all-England champion, has personally mentored both PV Sindhu and Saina Nehwal, along with most of the current generation of Indian badminton players. He spoke to Nalin Mehta on Sindhu’s silver medal at the world badminton championship, Saina’s decision to restart training under him and why he thinks men’s badminton has more depth than the women’s game in India: I have coached Saina from 2004 to 2014, from sub-junior level till we won whatever tournaments she went on to win at the time. She has been a great contributor for Indian badminton with the kind of victories she has had. She has also been a pioneer and role model for the next generation of players: whether it is Sindhu, P Kashyap, Gurusai Dutt, Ajay Jayaram, HS Prannoy, B Sai Praneeth or Kidambi Srikanth. Hopefully she will have many more performances in her already fantastic career. Thanks! For More Details Promotional Video
