Sopra Steria is recruiting for a Sales Consultant to work in our Government sector working with high profile clients on retenders and an opportunity for new business growth. The successful candidate will have have access to Sopra Steria’s specialist resources from across the UK to help them grow and develop their accounts. The Sales Consultant will need to be an individual who is positive-thinking and proactive, who can act on their own initiative and communicate well with internal and external customers. Key responsibilities Plan and execute sales growth with assigned sales prospects and according to the timescales set Maximising renewals & identifying key growth opportunities Manage sales pipeline to ensure a mix of prospects and opportunities that is appropriate to sales targets Ensure corporate sales toolsets are used and maintained in a timely manner. Develop and manage customer relationships. To ensure that all stages of the sales cycle are undertaken effectively to achieve the results required adhering to the company selling methodology To work with and gain the co-operation and commitment of key individuals in different units or disciplines to achieve assigned targets and objectives. To feedback to the company any relevant market intelligence, e.g. customers, marketplace, industry, competition, technology. Meet the agreed targets for order values and contributions according to the timescales set. Develop and share effective competitive strategies for target opportunities. Adhere to sales management and bid authorisation processes. Identify and manage risk in his/her business activities and 3D Walkthrough Animation take responsibility for reporting risks in a timely, open and appropriate manner Capture and feedback any relevant market intelligence relating to activity across assigned prospects.
