• The UAE is introducing mandatory electronic invoicing through a phased implementation process, making it essential for businesses to understand their appointment and implementation responsibilities. Companies with annual revenue of AED 50 million or more were required to appoint an Accredited Service Provider by 30 October 2026. Businesses that have not completed this process should promptly assess their obligations and seek appropriate compliance guidance. Missing the ASP appointment deadline does not remove the requirement to implement the eInvoicing system. The next important milestone for first-phase businesses is 1 January 2027, when mandatory implementation begins. Companies should review their existing invoicing procedures, accounting platforms, financial records and technology infrastructure. They should also coordinate with their finance and IT teams to ensure that invoice data can be exchanged in the required structured electronic format. Singiri & Co helps businesses understand UAE tax regulations, assess accounting requirements and prepare for digital invoicing. Early action can help reduce implementation difficulties and support better compliance management. Dubai, Dubai
