Normally patient is given local or topical anesthesia. Treatment is well tolerated, minor discomfort can be experienced during the procedure. Downtime is 3-5 days, patient will experience redness, dryness and flacking of the skin, as well as some discomfort. It is required to follow strict post treatment protocol provided by treating physician.
