There are various levels of accreditation for outpatient surgery centers, and the accreditation we have obtained is that of an ambulatory surgical center. The Florida Agency for Healthcare Administration dictates the manner in which a facility is designed, built, and managed, including credentials of staff and provisions for patient safety under emergency conditions. This is the highest level of outpatient surgery center in which surgery can be performed.
