Heavy Equipment Rental

Why Heavy Equipment Rental Needs More Than a Machine

When it comes to heavy equipment rental, Al Faris Group brings unmatched fleet depth and engineering expertise to every project. Industrial and infrastructure projects across the Gulf depend on equipment that performs safely under demanding conditions, but the equipment itself is only half the job. A crane, trailer, or generator delivered without a lift plan, a route survey, or a load calculation shifts all of that risk onto the client's own site team. Al Faris Group has spent more than three decades building one of the region's largest heavy equipment fleets, covering cranes, trailers, jacking and skidding systems, and power generation units, precisely because equipment scale means little without the engineering discipline to deploy it safely.

A Fleet Built for Oil & Gas, Construction, and Power Projects

From refinery shutdowns to high-rise construction and offshore installations, equipment demands change with every sector, and a rental fleet that only serves one industry well eventually forces clients to look elsewhere for the rest. Al Faris maintains dedicated fleets for oil, gas and petrochemical projects, infrastructure and construction, power generation, marine and offshore work, shipping and logistics, and renewable energy. This sector-specific approach means the equipment arriving on site is matched to the actual technical requirements of the job, not pulled from a generic rental catalogue and adapted after the fact.

How Al Faris Structures a Heavy Equipment Rental

A typical rental engagement starts with a site and scope review, where Al Faris' engineering team assesses ground conditions, access routes, and load requirements before recommending a specific piece of equipment or combination of equipment. This is followed by a documented method statement covering rigging, ground pressure, and safety exclusion zones, so that by the time equipment mobilises, both the client and Al Faris' operators are working from the same plan. Equipment is then supported for its full time on site, with maintenance and operator support included rather than treated as a separate cost.

Equipment Categories Covered Under One Roof

Clients working with Al Faris typically source several equipment types across a single project lifecycle: crawler and mobile cranes for structural and process lifts, SPMT trailers and hydraulic trailers for oversized transport, jacking and skidding systems for confined-space installation, and diesel generators or transformers for temporary power. Consolidating these under one supplier removes the friction of managing separate contracts, safety inductions, and delivery schedules with multiple vendors for what is ultimately one connected project.

Choosing a Rental Partner for Long-Term Projects

Short-term hires are straightforward, but multi-month or multi-year industrial projects need a rental partner who can commit fleet capacity and maintenance support for the full duration without gaps in availability. Al Faris' scale, combined with its Dubai Industrial City and Jubail bases, allows it to support these longer engagements without the capacity constraints that smaller regional suppliers often run into once a project extends beyond its original timeline.
