When designing a new domestic hot water system for 92Y, flow meters were installed on the existing system for several weeks to measure the actual time base hot water demand. Data showed that the actual demand was 34% of that based on published guidelines. NOVA 1 was able to reduce construction costs substantially which made the project economically feasible for our client.
