PrinterXR is an independent printer help site. We write setup guides, error code explainers and troubleshooting pages for Canon, HP, Epson and Brother machines, and we're not affiliated with any of those companies.

Most people land here because something has gone wrong. A printer won't join the Wi-Fi, a code has appeared on the display, or a new machine came out of the box with a leaflet instead of instructions. The guides are written in plain English and tested step by step, so you don't need to know what a print spooler is to get to the end of one.

The site also has a symptom-based troubleshooter, a warranty reminder tool, a fake-website checker, Template Studio for designing printable documents in your browser, and the PrinterXR Finder Chrome extension. There's a community on Reddit if you'd rather ask a person.

We don't have a support phone line and we will never ask to remote into your computer. If someone calls you claiming to be PrinterXR, it isn't us. Report it and hang up.

Most of the site is free. A few of the longer setup guides have a one-time unlock, paid through Stripe, and we say so before you pay.
