Clear the area first
Before any power washing, move stuff out of the way—grills, chairs, potted plants. You don’t want water blasting dirt onto your furniture.

Check your surfaces
Not everything handles high pressure well. For roofs, go with softwash roof cleaning or roof soft washing. Same for old wood—deck cleaning might need a gentler touch.

Look up
If you're thinking roof cleaning, check for loose shingles or soft spots. Those should be fixed before spraying anything up there.

Think beyond walls
Driveways, patios—patio cleaning with pressure can freshen things up fast. Even gutters benefit from a good rinse.

Keep it occasional
Exterior house cleaning isn't an everyday thing. Once or twice a year is usually enough. Overdoing pressure washing can wear stuff down.
