The College of Engineering, Roorkee (COER), formerly recognized as the University of Engineering and Technology, Roorkee, is a distinguished private engineering institution situated in Roorkee, Uttarakhand. Nestled along the Delhi-Haridwar Highway-58, approximately 180 km to the north of Delhi, the college boasts a strategic location in proximity to notable establishments including IIT Roorkee, Central Building Research Institute, National Institute of Hydrology, Irrigation Research Institute of Hydrology, Bengal Engineers Group, and the Indian Army's Center.Established in 1998 by the Seth Roshan Lal Jain Trust, COER emerged as Roorkee's inaugural private engineering college.
