Cenforce D is a combination medication used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED) and premature ***** (PE). It contains Sildenafil (the same active ingredient found in Viagra) and Dapoxetine (a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor, or SSRI, used to treat PE). While Cenforce D is generally effective, Sildenafil can cause certain visual side effects in some people, including issues with vision. Vision-Related Side Effects of Cenforce D: Blurred Vision: One of the most common visual side effects of Sildenafil (the Sildenafil component of Cenforce D) is blurred vision. This can happen shortly after taking the medication and usually resolves as the drug’s effects wear off (within 4-6 hours). It’s typically mild and not a cause for serious concern. Blue-Tinted Vision: A phenomenon called cyanopsia can occur, where you may see a blue tint to your vision. This side effect is also related to Sildenafil and happens due to the drug’s effects on photoreceptor cells in the retina. This blue-tinted vision typically resolves on its own and is usually not permanent. Sensitivity to Light (Photophobia): Some individuals may experience increased sensitivity to light after taking Cenforce D, leading to discomfort in bright lighting. This is less common but still a possibility for some users. Vision Disturbances or Impaired Vision: In rare cases, some men report more significant vision disturbances, such as blurry vision, reduced visual acuity, or difficulty distinguishing between certain colors, particularly blue and green. Non-Arteritic Anterior Ischemic Optic Neuropathy (NAION): NAION is a very rare but serious condition that involves sudden vision loss due to a lack of blood flow to the optic nerve. There have been reports of this condition occurring in men who have taken Sildenafil (and other PDE5 inhibitors like Cenforce D).
