The incumbent will perform scheduled preventive maintenance on FWC inboard/outboard motors, boats, trailers and vehicles including radios, blue lights and sirens. Assists assigned field offices in tracking marine engine PM hours/dates. Repair marine engines and drive systems (outboards/inboard). Diagnose problem(s) identified in assigned work requests. The incumbent will perform or assists with Trunked radio infrastructure diagnosis and reporting of the problems that can affect the performance of officer mobile and portable radios. This will involve interaction and verbal troubleshooting of officer equipment complaints and the routing of issues to the proper level of expertise if the repair cannot be performed immediately.
