Founded in 1913 as a subsidiary of a British corporation, Braithwaite & Co. Ltd. was established in India with a primary focus on the fabrication of structural steel works. In 1976, the company underwent nationalization and attained the status of a Public Sector Undertaking under the esteemed Ministry of Railways. Presently under the leadership of Mr. Yatish Kumar, serving as the Chairman & Managing Director, the organization achieved the prestigious Miniratna-I status in 2022.
