Our approach to litter cleanup in Hudson County NJ is rooted in three interwoven principles: paying participants for their efforts, delivering measurable impact, and restoring community spaces to vibrant, usable places. Unlike traditional volunteer-only models, Eco Clean Guardians offers paid cleanup opportunities that empower residents youth, veterans, under-employed community members—to actively protect, revive, and steward their neighborhoods. This is more than a clean-up: it’s economic opportunity tied to environmental responsibility. During our pilot campaigns in Hudson County (and neighboring counties) we engaged hundreds of participants, removed thousands of pounds of litter, and documented the transformation of roadsides, waterways and parks.
