As individuals working our own recoveries, at our addiction treatment centers in Thousand Oaks and Westlake Village, CA, we understand what it feels like to be caught up in the cycle of addiction. Individuals tend to feel hopeless and unworthy, while their families feel helpless. But we are living proof that it is possible to recover from addiction and lead healthy, fulfilling lives. Lotus Recovery has two separate facilities: one for treating mental health disorders and one for treating substance use disorders. Having two tracks of care allows us to provide highly tailored treatment services to our clients. While mental disorders and substance use disorders often occur together, they don’t always have to. Additionally, some people may have a primary substance use disorder and secondary mental disorder (or vice versa). Therefore, we may recommend giving the most attention to the main problem. Offering two tracks of care in two different settings makes it possible to give our clients the personalized attention they need to address their substance use and its root causes. Lotus Recovery has experienced staff members, many of whom are in recovery or have struggled with mental health. They help us maintain a supportive recovery environment where everyone feels welcomed and valued.
