I am so at peace and elated to announce the release of my
first book, Coffee and Spirits. This collection of poems and
stories were poured from my life experiences between the
ages of 15 and 22 - and so many of them began with coffee
and spirits. Our lives revolve around these substances that
are the foundation to which we build our interactions.
Behind every cup and glass is a secret we keep, and a story
untold. As these stories arrived into my life like a freight
train through the mountains, I found I couldn’t stop writing.
I discerned that my life, which lingered with crime and
health struggles, was perfectly blended with its beauty and
masterpiece. These stories were written as to not be
crushed by their weight.
