Business Description
Bed Linen NZ fabric is made of fibers coming from the stalks of flax plant and it's called "flax" in English and "fasole" in Romanian language. Owing to its characteristics, this fiber becomes a very resistant textile material which you can see even today on sailors' clothes for instance, but also on fine garments that will look nice all your life if you take care of them properly. Numerous tests proved that after laundering (washing) the linen dress in normal mode, the fabric will still have good quality. So it's a perfect material for a linen garment which has to be washed frequently and that is why people tend to choose this fabric on purpose. Linen fibers are very resistant but they can shrink up to 5% of their length after washing them at too high temperature which makes them considerably thinner and not pleasant anymore.
Is it Linen NZ or cotton ? This question bothers many cutomers and one day I decided to find the answer. I have already had several experiences with this problem, but my last experience was the most dramatic. I bought for one of my friends a dress that looked very nice on the photo, but when she received her order she was really upset because it wasn't what she expected at all. When I asked her if she washed it before using it, she told me that she did so in normal mode, 30 degrees Celsius. After three hours of ironing per day for three weeks, the dress remained wrinkled and impossible to wear! She didn't believe me when told her it's impossible considering the fabric is "linen". The linen is one of the oldest and most natural fabrics. It has been used since time immemorial.
